You know, I might not personally enjoy the episode “Once Upon A Dime” too much, but I can certainly appreciate the views of a younger Scrooge we got in it. (And the fact that it attempted to explain his backstory at a time when there wasn’t much of that around, even if it…. confused several points of its own canon from previous episodes…)
I hope your New Year is a duck-blur of race cars, lasers, and aeroplanes. I hope you solve some mysteries and rewrite history. Appreciation Post for Scrooge and the Kids (With Slight Focus On “Webby Darlin’”) which I meant to put up the day I saw this post and I just… didn’t. Ah well, it’s never too late for a little more Uncle Scrooge in our lives.
It’s kinda messy but I’ve been wanting to draw Scrooge in the white spats from the original NES game, so here we go. Pose mostly from the walk cycle in it or Remastered, though I couldn’t get the near arm to work so I just stuck it behind him since he always does that anyway >_> Reds, blues, and oranges sampled from the sprite itself, though specific shades altered as needed.
